Open Ocean is a plan whereby students pay a $US24 monthly fee to access all the courses except RYA Day Skipper and Transformational Instructor course. From time to time we run a special lower price.
When the student reaches Captain theory rank plus 25 days of logged time in their logbook the monthly fee automatically stops. Time must be authenticatd by the CrewMate system or by Tracklink or SailTies.
A student can put on hold the monthly fee anytime by pushing the On-Hold button on their Manage My Open Ocean page https://www.nauticed.org/my/oom (no calling customer service) and they keep the courses they have passed forever.
