Verified practical competency means that a student has been assessed by an accredited NauticEd Professional Sailing Instructor and has demonstrated a level of on-the-water practical competence to a specific listed Rank. The student is graded by the instructor to their level of demonstrated practical ability, and the NauticEd software automatically places the Verified Competency Mark on the logbook resume.
