You increase Rank by taking the courses associated to your desired Rank
The Ranks for sailing are:
- Qualified Crew
- Skipper Small keelboat
- Skipper (Large keelboat)
- Bareboat Charter Master
- Captain
The Ranks for Power are
- Skipper Small Powerboat
- Skipper Large Powerboat
- Bareboat Charter Master for Power
On your Logbook Page you will see your current rank and a link to Table view of Progress. Click that, and a page will open showing you all your courses that you have passed and courses that you will need to upgrade.
Also note that there are experience requirements that need to be logged into your logbook to meet the Bareboat Charter and Captain Rank Requirements. You must be at least level III. See the sailing certifications page for more info
This is the Table view of your progress. In this instance, for the student to Captain Rank, they would need to purchase and complete the 4 courses marked with the blue plus sign.
